I have recently joined icheckmovies, which is a neat little website that keeps a record of what movies and the number of movies one has seen. It also has a like/dislike feature, along with a watchlist.
Now, I will mostly be using it to keep count of what I have seen and nothing more.
I have spent the last few weeks attempting to fill it up with as much movies as I can remember to form a near-complete list. It is far from complete for I have definitely seen over a 1000 movies. Yeah, I have wasted hours of my life. Unfortunately...
1. I have forgotten most of what I have watched in the past.
2. Some movies are either not listed or incorrectly labelled.
3. This refers to both of the above: A lot of Hong Kong movies have yet to be added.
The good news is, as long as I can find the imdb page of any film, I can have it added to the list. It's just a matter of figuring out what those damn movies are called, especially the HK ones which have unusual translations that often have nothing to do with the original titles and/or plot, themes, etc.
Oh, what's that? You want the link to my profile? Here you go: http://www.icheckmovies.com/profiles/mca

Television { a list of my most main ships and their star rating. It goes without saying, any pairing listed as OTP has a definite five star rate. Should be obvious from that, five is the maximum number of stars given to any one pairing. Note: I won't be including any movie, crossover or real life pairings (there is either too much or too little to care about). Now there's bound to be some I've missed, so don't take this as a complete list. It's just a general overview. Anyway, let's commence the list... Niklaus "Klaus" Mikaelson and Caroline Forbes (Klaroline) from The Vampire Diaries - OTP Clark Kent and Lois Lane (Clois) from Smallville - OTP Anime/Manga Shippings [Pokemon] Jessie and James (Rocketshipping) ★★★★ Video Game Shippings [Various] Phoenix Wright and Maya Fey from Ace Attorney - OTP Yesterday was an awesome day. 23rd June 2012 will forever be known as one of the most eventful days ever. A lot of people may know it as the day of the Japanese release of Pokemon Black 2 and White 2, but suprisingly the spotlight was not on BW2 this time. ( Long story...Collapse )BTW I JUST FOUND OUT A FEW HOURS AGO THAT THE POKEMON BLACK 2 AND WHITE 2 ENGLISH RELEASE DATES HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED!!! sdjsnknjetouilhneldssjdjk ejwohghhghdsghkhs sdkghshg dgdglhd OH MAH GOD!! IT'S A SHINY!!! ( shiny goodnessCollapse ) The coherent version: So, I was just going about my normal routine of playing Pokemon Diamond - daily battles at the Valor Lakefront, some Underground exploration and berry growing. For some reason, I decided to go off to Fuego Ironworks to catch some Pokemon when all of a sudden I had a random encounter with a SHINY SHELLOS!! :D I didn't even realise it was a shiny until I saw those blue stars pop up. My face ---> O.O My initial reaction was "Wait, was that really a shiny? It doesn't look that different to the normal Shellos. I'll catch it anyway" Then I sent out my Staravia to weaken it, but I failed to land a single attack on it. As a result, my poor bird fainted and I knew if I attacked using any other Pokemon on my team, I would surely knock it out. Luckily, I have a large arsenal of Pokeballs in many shapes and forms at my disposal, so I figured I should just start chucking them at it. First Pokeball missed, but the second caught it. And so, I am now the proud owner of my FIRST EVER RANDOM ENCOUNTER SHINY! Technically, my first ever shiny of all since the Red Gyarados, events and trades don't really count. Last words: I definitely was not expecting this, but I couldn't be more pleased with my sparkly new Pokemon. I'm not sure what am going to do with this thing, but who cares, it's a shiny. It was my birthday two day ago, but that's not what this entry is about. I have had 23 birthdays now and only about half are actually interesting, so why bore you with the generic "how I spent my birthday" crap... No, instead, I have decided to give you something else entirely: WIMBLEDON or as I call it, Wims.
OH AND ANOTHER THING: I just want to say to the New Wimbledon Theatre in the most calm way possible - STOP SENDING ME MAIL, DAMMIT! *fireworks*
It has been a long road, but it's not over yet. Not counting plays, I have finally seen 50 musical productions and that won't be the last of it - not by a long shot. The first was The Phantom of the Opera, which was back in March 2006. The 4th to be exact. Here are the shows I have seen (in order) - some good, some bad: The Phantom of the Opera, The Lion King (x2), Wicked (x2), Cabaret, Dirty Dancing, Hairspray, Sunset Boulevard, Singin' in the Rain, Grease, Rent, Chicago, Jersey Boys, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, Thriller Live, We Will Rock You, Shout, A Little Night Music, Spring Awakening, Mamma Mia, Sister Act, Marilyn, Too Close to the Sun, Dreamboats & Petticoats, Forbidden Broadway, La Cage Aux Folles, The Rat Pack - Live from Las Vegas, Never Forget, Beauty & the Beast, Dancing in the Streets, Avenue Q, Sweet Charity, Flashdance, Love Never Dies, Love Story, Apassionata, Shoes, Legally Blonde, The Umbrellas of Cherbourg, Million Dollar Quartet, Flawless: Chase the Dream, Betty Blue Eyes, Respect La Diva, Rock of Ages, Some Like It Hip Hop, Crazy for You, Shrek, Ghost, Midnight Tango, The Wizard of Oz, Ballet Revolucion. Excitement. Anticipation. Just two words to describe how I feel about this year's upcoming events. My only hope is that I am not met with despair and disappointment when I finally get to experience what I have been waiting so patiently for... These events I speak of range from various forms of media such as video games, music, theatre and so on. I have complied a list that covers my most anticipated (in no particular order). Wow, it's been too long since I've updated this thing. First of all, I decided to give this LJ a little renovating with an all-new profile and layout. |
